Winners of the 2025 PMAC Awards for Excellence in Investment Journalism

The 2025 PMAC Awards for Excellence in Investment Journalism have recognized Canada’s leading financial journalists for their outstanding work in demystifying complex economic issues and enhancing investor understanding.

This year’s winning stories tackled timely issues, including the political pressures surrounding public pension investments; the economic risks of Canada’s shrinking public markets; smart strategies in precious metals; the sharp downturn in preconstruction condo investments; and how young Canadians are shaping their financial futures through savvy TFSA investing choices.

“The PMAC Awards have become the most recognized investment journalism honours in Canada,” says PMAC President Katie Walmsley. “This year’s entries reflect an exceptional level of editorial excellence, with compelling reporting and storytelling that both informs and empowers everyday Canadian investors. With each passing year, the competition continues to set the gold standard of insightful and impactful financial journalism in Canada. We congratulate all the winners for their depth of coverage on what matters most to Canadian investors.”
