Event Overview

This evening reception provides an informal forum for fellow CEOs, Presidents, Managing Partners, and 2ICs to discuss key issues of importance to you, your firm, and the industry.

We are pleased to announce our distinguished guest speaker for the evening: Carol Anne Hilton, Founder and CEO of the Indigenomics Institute. The Indigenomics Institute advises public governments, Indigenous communities, and the private sector on Indigenous-inclusive approaches to economic policy, education, research, and partnership development.

Carol Anne is of Nuu chah nulth descent from the Hesquiaht Nation on Vancouver Island, and she is the award-winning author of “Indigenomics: Taking a Seat at the Economic Table”. Carol Anne was the only Indigenous person appointed to the Canadian Economic Growth Council as a senior advisor to the federal Finance Minister in 2016. Carol Anne most recently served on the BC Emerging Economy Taskforce and the BC Indigenous Business and Investment Council. Carol Anne currently serves as a Director on the McGill University Institute for the Study of Canada, MITACS Research, and the BC Digital Supercluster.

Join your industry peers in learning what it means to work with the Indigenous community to achieve Indigenous economic growth and prosperity.

All attendees will receive a complimentary copy of Carol Anne Hilton’s award-winning book: Indigenomics: Taking a Seat at the Economic Table. “It is time. It is time to increase the visibility, role, and responsibility of the emerging modern Indigenous economy and the people involved. This is the foundation for economic reconciliation. This is Indigenomics.”
